Our very first cruise was in 2011, it was a Mexican Riviera cruise on the Holland America Oosterdam. Then, we took advantage of living 45 minutes away from Port Canaveral and did the Royal Caribbean Enchantment of the Seas a few times, followed by the Liberty of the Seas. We sort of liked cruising. There were some things we weren’t so thrilled about, so we didn’t cruise as much as we do now. A few things we disliked about cruising in general:
Disney Cruise Line has released it’s first rendering of their next line of ships. These gorgeous new ships will set sail in 2021, 2022 and 2023.

I’ve been wanting this camera for years. I convinced several friends to back it on Indiegogo. I’ve been super excited to get my hands on the Arc for a long long time.
If you watch our vlog or you follow our business, you know that we love tech. We’re always looking for the next gear that will help us elevate our work and achieve our desired shots. Well, word got out that we were testing cameras and let’s just say that our FedEx guy hates us now. 🙂 Sorry man!
It hurts my heart to see nonsense and violence like this. Sadly it’s the world we live in. There are times where you have to make a decision for yourself and not wait for a cruise line to do it for you. I’m not saying anything negative against the lines, I’m saying sometimes a little common sense goes a long way. What am I getting at? Cozumel is out, at least for now. Stef and I won’t even get off the boat. We get it, we know the explosion was on a ferry going to and from Cozumel. It’s what the explosion represents that keeps us on board. We’re hoping that the cruise lines will suspend service to Cozumel sending a financial and political message for Mexico to get it’s stuff straight. I’m sure some will argue and say that’s an overreaction but we’re referencing a boat exploding around dozens of people and I’m not talking about a Michael Bay film. That plus the State Department has issued several warnings. They have more data than we do.
Norwegian Cruise Line announced the start of construction of NCL’s 17th ship, the Norwegian Encore. If you watch our vlog, you know that Stef and I LOVE Norwegian. We’re super excited to experience the Encore, right after we do Bliss and Joy of course. 🙂
Tentatively starting construction in May 2018, Norwegian Cruise Line announces a beautiful new exclusive cruise terminal for NCL and their sister brands. If you’ve seen our vlog, you know that we’re huge NCL fans and we couldn’t be more excited about this news!
I’m sure this post will incite a few nasty messages so let me start by saying this is all my humble opinion. I’m not talking about anything other than our specific experiences. You might have the time of your life on the other side of cruising. That’s awesome. We’ve had a rash of bad luck so we altered course. Please allow me to explain:
Um Whut??? HECK YES! Virgin’s next venture… A cruise line. In typical Virgin style they aren’t just limping into the game. They are determined to change cruising for the better and we could not be more impressed!
